This is the font that heavily inspired me, I really liked the atypical proportions of the letters and the various details added to them,

Original cover of book. I tried to replicate this color-blocking on the spine of my cover.

Initially, I wanted to do an ombre effect for the text but I ultimately did it for the background as the text proved too difficult.

It was this image that inspired me to do yarn for my project.

Finished alphabet. I had to up the contrast on the image so that the sequins could be clear.

Finished making the ombre background. It turned out much better than I thought.

Testing out gluing down string. Initially, I was going to do a light blue yarn for my letters before deciding it wasn't the right color.
